Chicken Haandi

Ingredients

½ kg Chicken Boneless, cut into cubes

For onion mixture

3 medium size Onions, cut into slices
2 cups Water
1 teaspoon Garlic, crushed
3 Small Cardamom
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Chili Powder
¼ teaspoon Turmeric
2 tablespoon Ghee
2 Tomatoes, blend them
¼ teaspoon White pepper

For 1st Step

¼ cup Oil/Ghee
½ tsp Garlic crushed
½ tsp White cumin whole
2 Tomatoes, blended
1 tablespoon Yogurt
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Chili Powder
½ teaspoon Crushed red chili
¼ teaspoon White pepper
½ teaspoon Roasted cumin, crushed
½ teaspoon All spice powder
A pinch of Yellow food color
1 teaspoon Chili sauce
1 teaspoon Soya sauce
2 tablespoons Fresh cream

For 2nd step

2 ounce Butter
5-6 Almonds, boiled, peeled and then grind them
1 tablespoon Desiccated coconut
3 Green chilies, chopped
2 tablespoon Coriander Leaves

Method:

First of all, take a pot and boil onions with crushed garlic, green cardamom, salt, chili powder, turmeric and white pepper for about 20 minutes. Then remove from the stove and add ghee in it and blend the mixture after it be cool properly.
Add this mixture into yogurt and blended tomatoes. Put it aside.
Take a pan, heat up oil, add crushed garlic and cumin seeds and fry till it turns to be golden brown.
Now, add blended tomatoes, whipped yogurt, chili powder, crushed red chili, white pepper, roasted and crushed cumin, all spice powder, food color and salt and fry it well until oil starts to float.
Add pieces of chicken cubes with chili sauce, soya sauce, Worcestershire sauce. And cook it only for 10 minutes.
Add some cream in it and remove from the stove.
Take a handi and heat butter and onion mixture and cook for 10 minutes. When ghee come on the top, at the stage add cooked chicken mixture into the handi and mix well with a help of a ladle.
Lastly, add 2 tbsp. butter, almonds, desiccated coconut, green chilies and coriander leaves and cover this for few minutes on a low flame.
